What we do

Seven services, one point of contact, and a view on which of them your matter actually needs.

Print and copying

Court-ready printing, copying and binding, with turnaround that fits the timetable rather than the supplier diary.

Litigation printing is where a timetable is most easily lost. Bundles, authorities and hearing papers are produced to the court's specification, checked before they leave, and delivered when the hearing needs them rather than when the supplier's queue allows. Where a matter is on a tight listing, that difference decides whether the papers are right.

On-site scanning

Scanning at the firm, for files that cannot leave the building and for teams who need the work done in the room.

Some files cannot travel: client-sensitive material, documents under an undertaking, or matters where the physical file has to stay in the building. On-site scanning puts the capability inside the firm for the duration, so files are digitised where they sit and fee earners can ask questions of the person doing it.

Off-site scanning

Bulk digitisation to a fixed specification, with indexing that matches how the file is actually used.

Bulk work is better done away from the office, provided the specification is agreed first. That means naming conventions, index fields, image quality and what happens to the paper afterwards, settled in writing before a box is collected. The result should be findable by the person who needs it, not simply scanned.

Archive scanning and file clearance

Legacy paper cleared, scanned to a defensible standard, and the physical file dealt with properly afterwards.

Storage costs money every month it continues, and a file that has to be retrieved from an archive is rarely retrieved quickly. Archive scanning clears the backlog to a documented standard, with a retention position agreed before anything is destroyed, and a certificate for what was kept.

Electronic bundles

Bundles built to the court format, paginated and indexed, with the hyperlinking done correctly the first time.

A bundle is judged on whether a judge can navigate it in a hearing. Pagination must match the index, bookmarks must land on the right page, and the hyperlinks must survive the trip to a different machine. Getting this right first time avoids the re-build the night before.

E-discovery

Collection, processing and review support, scoped to the matter so the cost lands where the risk is.

Disclosure is where cost escalates fastest and where scoping is least often done. Collection, processing and review can be shaped around the issues that actually matter, with search terms and date ranges agreed early, and a defensible record of what was searched and what was excluded.

Time recording software

Selection and implementation of time recording that fee earners will actually use, mapped to how the firm bills.

Most firms do not have a software problem, they have an adoption problem. Choosing the right tool is the easy part. The work is mapping it to how the firm actually bills, agreeing what gets recorded and when, and getting fee earners to use it without feeling policed.

Tell us what is coming up. We will tell you what it needs.

A short conversation is usually enough to say whether a matter needs a provider at all, and which one.
